Adaptive Security Training was established in 2016. We, co-owners Jerry and Sara, brought together our vast backgrounds and experience in the medical and security fields to provide others with superior comprehensive training in these fields. Combined we have over 30 years of teaching experience and over 50 years of experience in the field.
Adaptive security training is a partner provider for St. John Ambulance and On Guard International.
St. John Ambulance is Canada’s leader in first aid training. Their modern innovative courses are designed for all ages and walks of life. We instruct a wide variety of St. John Ambulance certified courses to any business or organization that requires it by WSIB or considers it valuable in their workplace.
On Guard is a simple and highly effective system of techniques and strategies for crisis intervention and prevention. This can range from verbal de-escalation to taking physical control. These benevolent techniques are effective and do not require great physical strength.
Our Non-Physical Crisis Intervention (NPCI) certificate course is perfect for any industry that deals with the public as well as supervisory/management positions that are directly involved with their staff.
The Control and Defensive Tactics training courses are geared towards professions/staff that may find themselves in a position where they have to physically defend themselves or take control of a subject.
